You really made my day with that gift certificate! Some time last week I lost my amazon credit card. I reported it before anyone started using it so no big deal. But the result was that I can’t buy any more books until I get the new card. Well, the gift certificate was perfect as I had already selected a book that cost $5.65, and now it will be mine without waiting for the new card in the mail. Serendipity!!!

It looks like fun and I’ve read Mae’s food blog and it’s great. I’ve tried to read a foodie book and review it, but I it’s harder than it looks!! Here’s to Foodies Read!!!
You might like a book called In Memory of Bread about a man who loved baking bread and homebrewing beer who gets diagnosed with celiac disease. This is a memoir of him coming to terms with that and learning how to cook again.
