Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch TableÂ
1. Hermione Granger from Harry Potter – Because I was very Hermione-like in school.
2. Harry Dresden from The Dresden Files – He would fascinate Hermione with his different take on magic. He’s the reason why Harry Potter isn’t invited. They’d get in too much trouble together.
3. Publius Varrus from The Camulod Chronicles series – He’s a blacksmith and could make anything that Hermione and Harry dream up.
4, 5, and 6 – Marcus Didius Falco, Helena Justina, and Flavia Alba from Lindsey Davis’ mystery series – They are Roman so they would make Publius feel at ease and they tend to get into trouble wherever they go so they would keep things interesting.
7, 8, and 9 – Amelia Peabody, Radcliffe Emerson, and Ramses Emerson from Elizabeth Peters’ books – They are archeologist and amateur detectives so they would fit with the Falcos. Also Ramses and Harry would probably get on great.
10 – Paige Winterbourne from Industrial Magic – She a witch and is able to keep a firm hand on her foster child who is a sorcerer. Some one needs to keep this table under control.
So I realized that I put together a table with the brains to take over the world. Luckily most of them are mostly good so we don’t start a cabal of supervillans.
Hermione and Harry Dresden would definitely be at my table, too! I also added The Camulod Chronicles and the Marcus Didius Falco series to my TBR since I’d never heard of them before, but they sound really interesting. Thanks for sharing!
My Top Ten
Hermoine was the first character I thought of when I put my table together! I don’t think I’ve read the rest of these yet.
