The reason I was worried about the inspection is that the kid’s room wiring wasn’t done. It obviously wasn’t done. There were wires hanging out of boxes, etc. The husband wanted me to tell the guy upfront that our electrician was working on it and just ran out to Lowe’s to pick up a part. I’m sticking firmly to my no lying during the homestudy policy.
This morning the husband came and woke me up at 7:30 and said, “You want to hear something weird?” The wiring upstairs is completely finished and up to code. I told him that I didn’t appreciate him lying to me when I wasn’t fully awake. But it turns out to be true. After not hearing from the guy doing the wiring for weeks, he showed up unannounced yesterday when Iw as gone and finished it all.
Now we should have no problems with the fire inspection. I’m still planning on bonding by asking after his new pigs though.
