Still not reading a whole lot compared to what I was used to. Maybe this is a new normal for me?
Â
The books were:
- 3 nonfiction
- Â 2 audio books
- Set in England, Scotland, outer space, and the U.S.
The authors were:
- 7 unique white women, 2 white men, 2 black women, and one I’m not sure of
Which ones would I totally recommend?
Reading All Around the World challenge from Howling Frog Books
- Read a nonfiction book about the country – or
- Read fiction written by a native of the country or someone living for a long time in the country.
Nothing new. Sad face.
It looks like you had a good reading month .See what I read at Girl Who Reads
Looks great! How did you like The Woman’s Hour? Good luck with September!
I liked The Woman’s Hour a lot. It was very detailed so could be slow at times especially since I was listening to it.
I haven’t heard of Have Dog, Will Travel before, but now I’m going to check it out for myself as it sounds like a book for me. Hope your September goes well in life and in books.
Ooh, Have Dog, Will Travel 🙂 I remember that book. It was amazing. Made me cry, I think. Definitely totally recommend.
Twelve is still a great number. My reading goes up and down too though.Mood and how busy just gets in the way sometimes.
You still did great!! Happy September!
I go through times where I read a ton and then times where I barely read at all. It’s frustrating, but I guess that’s how life works. Have a good September!
