Blogathon 2005 is on August 6. During the blogathon people pledge to blog every 30 minutes for 24 hours for a charity of their choice. Cootiehog will be updated every 30 minutes and the proceeds will go to Heifer International. Heifer is my favorite charity so I’m giving her a plug. Head over to the site and pledge to help eliminate poverty.

A cool thing I saw at the convention was the donation of a check from the AVMA to Heifer. Somehow I missed all this but after the tsunami last year the AVMA had a fund drive for Heifer. They matched the funds raised. They presented a check for $1 million dollars to Heifer at the convention. Very cool.
