Here’s what I read in December.
Â
I also read an ARC of Any Old Diamonds by K.J. Charles but it doesn’t have a cover on Goodreads yet.
Why so few? I have a stack of books here that I have partially read. I keep renewing them from the library and then not finishing them. They are all good. I want to read them all. Then I just don’t read them. So, I’m sending them back to the library. Really, for real this time. I’m going to do a fresh start.Â
The books I read were:
- 2 nonfiction
- Â 1 audiobook
- Set in the U.S., England, and on Mars
The authors were:
- 2 unique white women, 1 African-American woman, 1 Latino man, and 2 white men
Which ones would I totally recommend?
Â
Reading All Around the World challenge from Howling Frog Books
- Read a nonfiction book about the country – or
- Read fiction written by a native of the country or someone living for a long time in the country.
I got nothing.

I have a copy of Frame Up right next to me–love the premise and cover. Happy 2019!
It really bums me out when I check out a stack of books I am sure to love but then don’t finish them… When I renew for the last time I either force myself to try to push through or just let them go… Sometimes you’ve just got to do it because you aren’t in the book!! <3
Andorra Pet on Mars looks great. I’ll have to check it out on Goodreads. ðŸ‘✨
Happy New Year. 🎉

You always read such interesting books. I’ve heard good things about White Fragility. I’ll have to look it up. Happy 2019!
