I have two hand appliqued blocks done. I know that they aren’t orientated in the same way but that’s ok in the grand scheme of things. The background squares end up being cut away. The outsides of the circle aren’t sewn yet. I didn’t sew them all lumpy bumpy like that.
I’m getting used to doing hand work. I’m a bit squirrelly if I try to watch TV without a block to work on. But, the SO is concerned. He asked me how many I was going to make. I said I didn’t know. He said I didn’t have much time. This was news to me. Apparently I make quilts quickly and that is going to take a lot of time and that is wrong.
I have the baby quilt quilted and I’ll bind it Tuesday and then it is ready for the shower on Saturday.
This is the second block for the quilt-a-long. I’m up to date.
Your NYB block has convinced me that I need to join the quilt along. I love your work.
It’s good to have projects that take a long time (at least that’s what I keep telling myself 🙂 LOVE the baby blanket and that NYB is just simply stunning, great job!
You take all the time you need on that applique…it will be gorgeous!
Love the NYB block…very vibrant!
I like that second block for the quilt-a-long. The fabrics you chose make it very, very interesting! Good job on being up to date!
I really like the way you featured the baby focus fabric in such a very traditional setting. I like baby quilts that are “different.”
