For this week’s Top Ten Tuesday I’m focusing combining it with SciFiMonth again to feature science fiction books with destinations in their titles.
This is actually the second book of a series that starts with Earthrise. Rose Point is a castle. This is a sort-of-cozy space opera series that I love. I’m due for a reread. Maybe I’ll do that when I’m going to be recovering from surgery in a few weeks.
I think this is pretty much a modern classic at this point. It is all about the journey to the destination.
The City in the title is Delhi. I just love the colors on this cover. This is a story about a woman who manages the careers of online celebrities in the near future.
This is a road trip story that happens after a woman is kidnapped by an alien who is searching for…something. It is a silly and fun story.
This is a short story about an AI thinking while traveling for a very long time between stars.
I’m actually going to see John Scalzi talk tonight!
This is part of the same short story/novella collection as the last one. This is the story of a group of people selected because they could bond with sentient space ships. They each travel alone for 5 years into space. They are now all meeting up for a few days near Jupiter.
This is a short story set in a series that I haven’t read. These older women run a cafe on a space station. When the station is attacked they run the resistance. I love older lady protagonists!
This is a cozy mystery series that starts on a space station and the second is on Mars.
I haven’t read any of these books before, but I think I’ll have to look into Rose Point, it sounds and looks amazing!

I just learned about THE ROAD TO ROSWELL today. It’s totally NOT my genre, but it also sounds super fun. I might have to check it out.
Happy TTT!

Good luck with your surgery!
What a great idea to choose scifi books this week! I thought The Road to Roswell was well done.
The Road to Roswell actually looks really fun! 😀
