What is #BookBlogWriMo?
Basically, it’s a lax version of NaNoWriMo for book bloggers. I created prompts for each day, discussing different topics around books, blogging, and books + blogging.
My Least Favorite Book Blogging Things
If I’m going to take the time to read a post I want to know what the person thought of the book.  I don’t want to see just cover reveals or the same blurbs I can see on the book jacket.  Give me your thoughts. Tell me how it made you feel or what topics it made you think about.
I don’t like giveaways that make you follow a group of people to enter. I want to gain followers because they like what I say not because I bribed them.
I like blogs that cover a whole range of books. Seeing the same type of book all the time on a blog bores me.
Hey there, I found you via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.
I am so with you on the giveaways that require people to follow things to enter. What makes them think I am going to stay a follower long term just because I followed them to enter a competition? I unfollow things regularly. 🙂
And what if I am already a follower, what do I get for that, bubkis? No entries? Oh, because you want new followers and are willing to insult your regulars to achieve that! Riiiiight. As soon as I see a competition requires that now, I close the window and think no more about it.
I can quickly tell just having read back a few posts that this is a blog I will want to follow long past November. 😉
As part of NaBloPoMo I try to comment on as many participating blogs as I can, and I also add participating blogs to my feed reader.
So I’m just dropping by to let you know I’ve added your blog to my feedreader, I’m reading you loud and clear, I have a link up going at my place so my readers can find participating blogs which you are more than welcome to add your blog link to.
Looking forward to seeing your posts. You may see me drop by again during November, but it might be December before I finish my first drop by to blogs if I don’t get faster at leaving comments. 🙂
Happy NaBloPoMo to you!

I’m with you on cover reveals and other promo stuff. I think those are boring. I’d much rather see original content.
