I’ve been doing the 44 Days of Burpees so I’ve been doing the appropriate amount of burpees each day. It is still easy right now since it is the first week.
Sunday
This is my last Sunday class. I’ll miss it because I enjoyed getting to pick a workout but it was at an inconvenient time on the only day off that I have as the same time as the husband. I’m still going to do a workout on these days but at home.
3 rounds of:
If you do the math there are 60 burpees in that workout. We did 7 in warmup. That’s way over the 7 I needed for the burpee challenge! I should earn a few days off.
Brooke’s Skinny Snowman Challenge started today. I didn’t print out my forms so I forgot to do a bunch of stuff.
Monday
8 burpees. I rug burned my knees doing the burpees on Sunday so these are a bit painful.
Tuesday
The workout today was in two parts. First we did as many reps as possible in 5 minutes of:
Then we had a 1 minute rest and went into 5 minutes of as many reps as possible of:
I did 4 rounds of the first one with 15 pushups extra and 4 rounds of the second with 12 jumps extra.
Then I came home and did my 9 burpees!
I’m hoping when the new fitness & leisure centre opens up they might have some classes like this. I got my self some Kettlebells but they’ve been hanging about…
Although your workouts always make me think of heading back to bed, toooo haaaarrrd. 15 pushups… extra? Back to bed…
I think it’s amazing whenever I read Crossfit workouts. I’ve always thought it was fascinating, but never quite felt like I could keep it up after the initial enjoyment? Of course, I thought the same thing about running, too, so maybe I should give this a try 🙂
I’ll be interested to see what you come up with for your Sunday workouts. You have a lot of experience to build on now, but it’s always a bit of a transition to figure out how to get things done at home.
