I like this pattern but keeping the colors straight was a challenge! I have all kinds of left over pieces from making the parts the wrong colors. I think this would be nice enlarged to medallion size as the center of a quilt.

This is a really lovely block-quite challenging to get the colors all in the right spot. I agree that it would make a beautiful medallion quilt. Is it from the block within a block book? I am fascinated with some of the patterns that come out of that book but have never tried one. Perhaps one day – the list of quilts I would like to make continues to grow..LOL
Your renovations are turning out lovely – it must feel good to have them moving along – things all new and refreshed looking.
