Every since we built the house I’ve been a gung-ho gardener. But the overall plan I had in my head just is not coming together into a cohesive whole design. My husband wants to bulldoze the whole thing and start from scratch. That totally pisses me off because I’ve worked hard and I have a good foundation of shrubs that will be large someday.
I’m just not inspired this spring at all. By now I am usually ready to start plant shopping. I sent an email to a landscape designer today to get an estimate. It is going to cost a fortune but it will give me a plan to work towards. Now I just have to convince the husband that it will cost less than bulldozing and get him a happier wife.
