I actually finished a quilt. I know, I was amazed too.
I have hardly been doing any quilting this year. I decided to make a quilt for my OTSP Secret Sister. Of course my quilt timeline went like this:
January
I’m going to make a simple purple quilt because she said she likes purple. Here’s a plan and I’ll cut out some of the blocks. I need it by July. No problem.

July is getting close. I should start thinking about this. I’ll finish the blocks all up. I still have plenty of time.

Ok, I’m mailing this before I leave in 2 weeks. I have a strict schedule of what needs done each day. Nothing else happens until this quilt is done.
It always works the same way for me. I have a quilt that needs done in August. It is only a vague plan in my mind right now.
I made the quilt pose with me on Instagram. It also advertised books.
Most of the quilting was straight lines but I am pretty proud of this.
I got my Secret Sister’s name quilted on there freehand.
I should really start thinking about that August quilt.
This is so pretty (and impressive)! Your secret sister is going to be super excited when she sees this I know!
