For reasons that I totally don’t understand, I’ve decided to do Bonnie Hunter’s newest mystery quilt, Carolina Christmas. It is a 82 inch square quilt. I don’t like huge quilts. I don’t like square quilts. I don’t like Christmas quilts. But for some reason I feel drawn to do this.
Today I’m going to clean my sewing room before I get started. I have fabric piled everywhere except where it really goes. I hate starting a new project, especially something this big, in a mess like that.
I better get a move on. Part two is already up and I haven’t started part one yet. I didn’t look ahead. That’s showing major restraint for me!
