My book and I went to the beach this week.

It was too cold to go in the water but the beach was nice.

Oooh, look! I wrote a whole post about wanting to find chick lit or light romance set in South America or Africa. May I present Lydia San Andres. She writes historical romance set on an imaginary Caribbean island. It isn’t exactly what was I looking for but it is a start. I found out about her through the WOC in Romance site.
Finished This Week
I’m reading so much now that I have time off that there is no way that I’m going to be able to review everything on here. I started adding reviews straight to Goodreads for books that aren’t going to be on here. I’ll probably do some roundups of mini reviews.
What Am I Reading?
Yeah, still with How To Survive a Plague but I only have about 50 pages left.
What Am I Listening To?
The beach pic looks lovely although I’m never that successful at outdoor reads!
Bread WIne Chocolate looks interesting. I hope you enjoy your new books!
The beach looks nice, it’s a great place to read even if the water is to cold. 🙂
Half Off Ragnarok looks fun, I’ve read the first book of that series and need to get moving on the others.
I love people who read as eclectically as I try to. Bookmarking this post to check out as many of these as possible. What’s the beach read? Couldn’t make it out. Also what’s the beach… as I live in the land of 365 beaches, I am ever curious about such things.
The book is Half-Off Ragnarok by Seanan McGuire. I was at a beach on Lake Erie. Much colder than your beaches!
lol I can imagine.
I have Princess Jellyfish and When Dimple Met Rishi at home on my TBR pile. Although Princess Jellyfish is probably in storage, meaning I’ll get to it next year sometime! The move is really happening. We have temporary housing squared away and most of our home library in storage now. Come see what I’m reading this week.
What a great assortment of books. I had The Agency on my TBR pile but it didn’t survive the last weeding. I still want to read it but will have to get another copy. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
