On my iPad
I’m still going slowly through this one. I was able to renew it from the library so I can take my time with it.
I have a bunch of books from Netgalley that I should read. Nothing is really grabbing me but I need to give them some time.
Audiobook
I never finished watching Ted Lasso but the story of how the show was made is still interesting. It is light and doesn’t make me think too hard – sort of like the show.
When I make the Foodies Read post for each month, I look at Netgalley for food-themed books to highlight. This month I saw book three of this series of novellas about a magical restaurant in Toronto. It is only 3 hours long so I figured going back to listen to the first one would be fun.

Why do I have this book?
I know that I saw it on someone’s blog or on a list somewhere. Something about it made me get it. I didn’t just get it from the library. I got it from interlibrary loan. That seems important. Usually that means that it would be for a challenge or a theme month. I have absolutely no idea why I needed this book. I must be getting the OldTimers. I need to be writing these things down! Maybe when I get deeper into the book I’ll figure out what caught my eye.

I also have a few NetGalley books to read but right not I’m not exactly in a mood for them.
I’ll look for the Ann Hood book!
