I don’t know why I keep reading this Jennifer Chiaverini series. I think because I’ve been reading it for so many years and it is just habit. It drives me batty though. The thing that I really, really hate about it is that they always refer to this one woman as a “master quilter”. That isn’t even a thing but they use the phrase all the time in casual conversation. It is so awkward and I feel like there should be a drinking game made around it.

I finished up The World’s Fair Quilt. I really am half hate-reading these at this point. They are running out of plots.
I am enjoying the audiobook series that I’m listening to. Big Witch Energy is the second book.
I started The Girl Who Belonged to the Sea to have some more water based fantasy books read for Wyrd & Wonder starting in May.

I finished my audiobook and started book three in the series, Never Been Witched. I borrowed Monstrous Heart from the library and then forgot that I did that until I wrote this post. I need to go read that!
I picked this actual physical book up from the library for more Wyrd & Wonder reading, The Golden City.

I finished up the watery book and I got the next one in the series, On These Wicked Shores, from Kindle Unlimited. I’m not entirely sure if I want to keep going with the series or not yet. I also loaded up my reader with a bunch of other books that were suggested to me.

Vampires and Violas is the second in a series where I liked the first book. The Ether Witch is the first book of a third series in a world where I adored the first series and found the second so insufferable that I couldn’t get through the first book. I hope this is back to the joy of the first series. I hated the main character of the second series and I hope she isn’t around or maybe she learned some life lessons or something. Breathing Space just looked cool. It is a space ship librarian with an android cat who solves a mystery. That one will probably need to wait for a bit.

I couldn’t think of what book to start so I picked Vampires and Violas. Now I know that my brain was trying to remind me that I had Monstrous Heart that I was supposed to be reading from the library!

I finished the Molly Harper series and started a new one with How to Date Your Dragon. It was also included on Audible and may have watery magic too. The husband and I have started listening to Cold as Hell together.

Easter road trip to my parents’ so we listening to a lot of the audiobook. (The husband just walked in while I was writing this and protested that I can’t review Cold as Hell yet because we aren’t done. I had to explain all about the It’s Monday! post. LOL) I also downloaded a few free ebooks because I was browsing BookBub.
