How do you even begin to wrap up this month? We all knew it was going to be awful. Let’s distract ourselves by looking at some books.
I started out the year reading the sequels to the first two books I read in 2016.
I read some novellas this month too.
The middle of the month was Fantasy with one Mystery audiobook thrown in for fun. I also started a great nonfiction audiobook.
Then DiverseAThon started. I focused on finishing books but also ran through a few audiobooks.
That’s a total of 16 books this month.
- 5 were audiobooks
- 7 were fantasy
- 4 were nonfiction
The authors were:
- 11 female and 5 male
- 8 POC
Reading All Around the World challenge from Howling Frog Books
- Read a nonfiction book about the country – or
- Read fiction written by a native of the country or someone living for a long time in the country.
I added Kyrgyzstan by reading On the Noodle Road. I totally reserve the right to move that to one of the other central Asia countries she visited if I need to.
I earned my first badge from the Read Diverse Books link up this month.
If I review all these DiverseAThon books, I should get to the next level soon.
Excellent reading month for you! Books are even more needed now for escape from reality. Always better than movies to sit with a book and lose myself.
I love the first two lines of this post. Yep, that about sums it up.
That is a great bunch of books. I wish I could get over my reading slump. Hopefully February will be better!
Wow, great month for you!! Happy February!
