Sometimes the news in the world seems so far away that we can ignore it and go on with our lives. But today two of the blogs that I routinely read are reporting on relatives stuck in Lebanon and living through the Israeli bombings.
Trey’s niece and nephew are in an area being bombed with no way to get out. They want to get to the U.S. Embassy but the roads are not passable.
Maryanne’s son and his girlfriend are on vacation in Syria and she is concerned about their safety if this escalates. Her daughter’s boyfriend is a teacher in Ramallah, an area that is being heavily bombed.
Go read these stories and then pray for the safety of everyone involved and a quick and peaceful end to the hostilities.
