Today for the Blogger Positivity Challenge we were challenged to write a letter to anyone we appreciate.
I appreciate my readers. Yeah, you guys.
Some of you have been around for ages through all kinds of changes. Thanks for sticking around.
Welcome to all the new people too! It is great to have you here.
I appreciate all the comments and the tweets and the retweets and the pins.
Thanks for all the book recommendations. Thanks for keeping me off the streets by running so many online events that I want to be a part of. Thanks for making start a lot of conversations with “I know this person who…” and then realize I’m about to tell a story about a person who I’ve actually never met.
I’ve booked a hotel in Chicago for BEA because of all of you. I promise to bring lots of books back for giveaways.
Thank you for the kind post and for sharing it on the Small Victories Sunday linkup!
This is such a beautiful and heartfelt post Heather! I completely agree with everything you’ve said. The blogging community is such a supportive and loving community, and I don’t know what I’d do without it. It’s amazing to be able to discuss books with people who share my passion for them. So glad you’re going to BEA next year – I hope you have an amazing time! <3
In real life when I start at sentence with “I read this book…” people tend to back away.
So jealous that you’re going to BEA!! We don’t have anything like that in tiny New Zealand so I hope you post about it heaps so that I can just live through your experience 🙂
I’ve never been to a book convention before. I use my family’s time share membership to stay at places for work conventions so my mother was confused about why I was signing up to use it for a second convention in the year. “Well, it is about books. They give books away. I can go because of my blog (that they have only heard about in passing)….”
