Yesterday I went to the State Capitol to set up a Quilts of Valor display.
It is set up with the Lima Company Memorial, which is a traveling exhibit featuring some soldiers who died in Iraq.
This is a few of the panels.
I just set up a table for people to pick up information and then we will be back next week to do presentations at the closing ceremony.
The floor is very quiltable.
Domed ceilings always look great. Good work with the quilts, funny about the floor- it would make a nice quilt.
The quilts are really cool! I wish I had that talent.
Beautiful…and what a lovely idea! Thanks for sharing…and here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
What a lovely idea for a quilt exhibit. You’re right — the design on the floor would make a beautiful quilt. We can find inspiration everywhere, can’t we?
