I had a big reading month mostly because I ended up binging a few series. I read 19 books.
It was an overwhelmingly white author collection with the exception of one Black author. There were 3 audiobooks.
My South of the Equator challenge was a little confused this month. Emily Larkin now lives in New Zealand but writes books set in England. Whispering Twilight is part a series set in Europe but this book is set in Peru.
I’m looking forward to Wyrd and Wonder in May. This is a full month of celebrating fantasy with daily and weekly prompts. Check out this year’s info here.
Me: Wow, those two book covers look really similar, what are the odds?
Penny: *drops*
Me: …They’re from the same series *face-palms*
…I’m blaming the hayfever tablets! Lol.
Glad you could enjoy some good binge reads!!
Oh goodness, such a collection of striking covers! (I do judge books by their covers! Ha!) The E.B. Wheeler dragon covers are quirky – I love them. Happy Reading!
You got a lot done this month! 🙂 I’m really loving the covers for the Extraordinaries series. I’m going to have to read your reviews of these to see what they’re like!
Aren’t those covers beautiful?
I’m not a big cover lover but those are gorgeous!
I read mostly nonfiction so I rarely get the benefit of binging a series. But the thought of it sounds appealing! I’ve been looking for a new (to me) comedy series to watch on TV that I can binge when I need to veg out.
