As promised here is the picture of the moon over the Alamo.
That’s the pretty part of the trip. Here’s the not so pretty part.
I’m a wannabe fashionista. To that end I bought some terribly impractical shoes for the trip because I love them and they were on sale.
Exhibit A :
I wore them Saturday night to just go to dinner. They made me super tall. I was proud of them. Until I was leaving the restaurant and tripped over a curb. It was a total wipe-out. The husband was laughing so hard he couldn’t help me up. I skinned up my knee and almost ripped a hole in my pants. But I still love my shoes. I guess that gives new meaning to the phrase fashion victim.

Niiiiiiiice shoes! I’d love to be able to wear something like that. I wouldn’t get 5 steps without falling flat on my face.
In my World of Shoes, comfort is key, and I only seem to be comfortable in Birkenstocks. I’m currently pining for a pair of raspberry tartan wool clogs, but with winter ending, not likely to get them. *sigh*
