I forgot about Nonfiction November!
Well, I didn’t really forget about it because November is Nonfiction November in my brain but I forgot about the posts. I especially forgot that Nonfiction November posts start in October. So here I am late to the party with my year in Nonfiction.
“Take a look back at your year of nonfiction and reflect on the following questions – What was your favorite nonfiction read of the year? Do you have a particular topic you’ve been attracted to more this year? What nonfiction book have you recommended the most?”
Here are the nonfiction books I’ve finished this year.
What’s my favorite? Why do people ask this question? Do they just want to torture me?
Ok, ok, I picked a few but it broke my heart. These are the ones that I would recommend most. Â

I’m not sure if my comment went through, so I’m trying again 🙂 The beginning of the event surprised me too! I enjoyed having it be longer, but it did sneak up on me.

I almost forgot when we were starting too! We wanted to fit in an extra topic, but it did mean the beginning of the event sneaked up on me 🙂
Wow you read so many! When They Call You a Terrorist is high on my list.
Lots of new to me nonfiction titles included here. Good luck with nonfiction November, and happy reading!
As I scrolled through your book covers I kept thinking “I want to read that one! And that one! And oh that one too!” So, great list. Thanks for joining us this month (even with things starting a little early!)
What a wonderful selection of books you’ve got there. I’m intrigued most by the cover of Heart in the Right Place, I’ve never heard of it, and love a goat face.
Waking the Spirit is on my TBR – glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I’m glad you picked The New Farm because it looks interesting. I hope that you’ll get to explore more of the nonfiction books so I can learn about them this November 😊
Such an interesting variety of books here… The New Farm and The Woman’s Hour sound particularly appealing.
Your very interesting list and my recent reading list only overlap on 3 books: Ninety Percent of Everything, West of the Revolution, and Hippie Food. I’m considering the Eric Idle book and The New Farm based on your choices. Thanks for the list!
