In October I read 14 books.
- 8 were nonfiction.
- 11 were written by women
- I didn’t finish any audio books since I’m in the middle of the 21 hour-long The Aeronaut’s Windlass.
- The ones set in the U.S. were set in New York (2), Indiana, Oklahoma, Ohio, and California.
- The international books were set in Saudi Arabia, Germany/Poland, and Tuvalu.
- The authors were white (8), black (3), Latina (1), and Asian (2).
- My favorite was Ink.
I love book blogging in October because of Diversiverse in the first two weeks and then Travel the World in Books Readathon in the last two weeks.

November is a great blogging month too!
This time of year I always want to read mostly nonfiction, as you can tell from how many I read in October. I love this event. Check out the schedule here.
Also there is a nonfiction book swap:
Again this year, Bex (An Armchair By the Sea) is hosting a Nonfiction Book Swap to go along with Nonfiction November. The book swap is open internationally and participants should make a nonfiction only wish list. Sign ups are open until November 8, but head over to her blog for all the details.
Sci-Fi Month is happening too! Check out the details at Rinn Reads. I don’t know how much I’ll read for this since I’m in a nonfiction mood, but I’ll be following the hashtag #RRSciFiMonth for recommendationas.
I’m hosting the giveaway this month for the Monthly Wrap Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction. Check back here on November 8 to find the giveaway!
[…] Wrap-Up Round-Up has been a great success!! Last month’s giveaway was hosted by Heather @ Based on a True Story (check out the link to see the winner!). Thanks so much for hosting, […]
