I’m at the library downloading podcasts for my trip tomorrow. One of the problems with only having dial-up is that you can’t get podcasts or videos at home. It takes several hours to download a 20 minute podcast – if you are lucky enough not to get kicked off.
I have quite the assortment downloading right now. I have several from Speaking of Faith, one listed on Yarn Harlot yesterday, an Alex Anderson quilt podcast (Can you do quilt podcasts? Isn’t quilting inherently visual?), and Deo’s shadow, a pagan podcast.
They download much faster here but I only get a 1/2 hour so part of the challenge is getting them to finish before my time is up.
Once again I lift up my appeal to the gods and goddesses of broadband access. Please come to my house!
As the online editor for SOF, I’ll be pushing for the deities to grant you high-speed access in this coming year. Dial-up is so late 90’s, isn’t it! *grin*
