In the abscence of anything exciting to say I’ll just post quilt porn. I lost the info on this quilt (bad blogger!) but it is a detail picture of a quilt in this year’s Quilt Surface Design show.
I think it was put together in sections so each block was added to others until it was the same size as another section. There have been some sashing strips added in between to help make up size differences. There is probably a few set in seams too.
OK. Of all the instances I have seen of an item being labled something “porn”, this is the first one that really made me gasp when I saw it. That is gorgeous! Do you remember how the blocks were put together?
