I worked on the swap block that had been scaring me the most. We needed to make a flower block that represents our area. The red carnation is my state flower.
I worked more on my 16 patches. I have a few more blocks than this but they don’t all fit on my wall.
I made a blue flower. When I planned out my Hexy MF quilt I cut out half the fabrics. This flower finished up that first half. There are 26 flowers in that stack. I’m not sure where I put the rest…
Lovely hexie flowers, Barbara.
well I’m sure the other hexies are “lurking” around somewhere just waiting to be used in a fabulous project. The blue batik flower is my favorite!
Nice projects and lovely flowers.
Lovely projects all and I really like that flower…it is perfect! 🙂
Fabulous red carnation and the hexie flowers always beautiful. Love the patches!
The carnation block looks great,as do your blocks. That’s also a lovely pile of flowers , look forward to seeing the rest when you find them !!!!
well, you’ve got some fun stuff going here. =)
when you do find your hexie flowers, please bring them over to “splish splash stash” for the monthly epp link party we have there. the next one is Saturday, dec 14th. happy sewing until then!
You have quite a few lovely projects happening at the same time. I love your 16 Patch! I kept making blocks too that they couldn’t all fit on my design board especially since I changed them to on point. Your hexie flowers are looking good. They look like they are a pretty good size. I got a big charge of you being owned by many pets! Isn’t that what it is like? They end up ruling the household – LOL. Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog and commenting on my 16 Patch. Happy sewing and quilting.
