I’m awful at keeping up on my reading challenges. I’m not actually horrible at doing them but I’m horrible at recording them. If there isn’t a link up that I can post to immediately, I don’t do it. I can’t remember to go to link up that is quarterly.
So, let’s see how I did this year at reading around the world. My criteria for this is that the book needs to be set in the country. Ideally it is written by someone who lives in that country or at least lived there for a bit. I only count the first book I read for each place.
Africa
Europe
Asia
Everywhere Else
Not that great. I’m surprised by the lack of books in Asia this year. I usually have more than that. I always have an issue with not reading enough Latin American books too. Here’s to next year!
I didn’t participate in the challenge, but I love noticing where the books I read are set and the more books set outside the US the better.
I dunno, it seems to me you did pretty good! 🙂
