I went to watch the team penning today in preparation for riding tomorrow. I think I understand all the rules now but I don’t know if I can do it. Prize isn’t big on running fast. She’s more of a contemplative girl. We’ll see if her competitive side kicks in when the cows start running.
There was a lot of yelling to get the cows to run. I’m more of a Babe kind of cow-mover. I’ll ask them nicely to go to the pen instead of threatening them.
