Freckles’ best doggy friend is dying. He was a little tired last week so his person mentioned that when he went to the vet Monday for his vaccines. Long story short he has a tumor causing a cardiac tampenade (the space between the heart and the pericardium is filling with fluid which squeezes the heart so it can’t pump).  It has been drained a few times and refills by the next day. Now he is having a hard time breathing.

He was from Springer rescue. His person checked their website ever so often and that’s how we found out about Freckles. Freckles stays with them when we go out of town. She sleeps on the bed with him. Whenever she sees him walking in the neighborhood she gets very excited and wanted to run and she him.

They were planning on euthanizing him yesterday or today. RIP Bosco.
