I do love a theme month and SciFiMonth is a good one. I don’t read as much science fiction as other genres but let’s see what I’ve read from November 1 of last year to October 31 of this year.
Here’s what I read during November when I was thinking about SciFi. The first two are short stories and the de Bodards are more novella length.
What happens when the focus is off SciFiMonth? Usually I wander back off into fantasy and occasionally think, “I better read some sci fi so I have something new to say for SciFiMonth.” What happened this year?
Better. I also have some books that are hard to classify. They are a cross between fantasy and science fiction but I think they are leaning more heavily towards the sci fi. This includes the relisten of the Clean Sweep series that I did with the husband.
What were my favorites? (Not counting rereads)
Bang Bang Bodhisattva is probably third based purely on good banter but the story isn’t going to stick with me like Grief in the Fourth Dimension. Key Lime Sky was my first Al Hess novel and now I’m working through reading all his books.
