Welcome to September 2020 Foodies Read!
We had 23 entries in August. The winner of the drawing this month is Amy for her review of Recipe for a Perfect Wife.
The Foodies Read Rules:
- Every post must feature a book about food. Posts that don’t center a book will be removed.
- Every entry is entered into a monthly drawing to win a gift card. Once you win a prize you are not eligible to win for 6 months.
You may notice that things look a little different this month. My blog theme didn’t survive the change to WordPress block editor. So now if you are looking for this post later in the month, instead of finding it on the right sidebar, look at the 3 bar menu on the upper left of the page. Select that and click on Foodies Read to go right to the current month’s page.

Your new theme is very aesthetically pleasing, and it looks pretty easy to find “Foodies Read.” As usual, I write up books that aren’t necessarily food books, but I include a lot about how the authors use food in creating atmosphere or whatever. That’s the case with my first book this month, and I hope it’s ok with you.

Hi there Heather! I am making a note here about this link-up and I hope to get back to you! It’s been a bit busy the last couple of weeks, so I haven’t planned any books yet for September. But this seem like fun! Thanks for letting me know about it.
Regarding your template. I’m on blogger and as you know, they also had an interface. I went on a new template this weekend and it it GORGEOUS and works perfectly. I got it form Etsy and I know they also have templates for WordPress.
Keep well and enjoy the rest of your week!

I’ve heard the WordPress block editor has been providing some challenges for people! Sorry to hear you had trouble. This is fun though- I love this link up! Honestly, anything food- related like this works for me haha! 🙂
