Todays Top Ten Tuesday is a genre freebie so I decided to highlight one of favorite categories – sci fi and fantasy books featuring food! I run a monthly link up called Foodies Read for reviews of all kinds of books about food. So if you also love these stories and review them, I’d love to have you link up.

Cozy stories are all the rage right now, especially in fantasy.
Fantasy creatures starting coffee or tea shops are a lot of fun. For a sci-fi take on this theme, try out A Psalm for the Wild-Built featuring a traveling tea monk.
Magical realism is featured in Heather Webber’s books. This one is based out of a coffee shop whose owner is stuck in a rut.
Would you like to read about a tea shop in Paris whose owner can read fortunes but who wants to get rid of her gifts?
An early model robot has been running their dead master’s tea shop for a very long time. Now they meet an expert in modern AI technology who is running from her past.
This murder mystery takes place in the cafe on a mining space station orbiting Saturn.
Who do demons go to when they need fancy catering? Find out in this series.
This series is the absolute best! A witch gets a job cooking in a castle but realizes that his power extends to protecting the whole castle.
I love this subgenre!
I didn’t know there were so many foodie fantasy books. They look very cute.
I didn’t even realize cozy fantasy was a genre until I saw LEGENDS AND LATTES being featured all over the book blogosphere. It does seem like a fun genre, even though I’m not a fantasy reader.
Happy TTT!

The only book I’ve read that falls into this category is Legends & Lattes, which I enjoyed. So I may have to check a few of these out.

I find the idea of lower stakes SFF to be intriuging. I may have to add a couple of these to my own TBR list.
You have me wanting tea.
I love cozy mysteries, so cozy sci-fi is right up my alley! Thanks for adding to the TBR. ?
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Ooh, i love this sort of stuff. There’s nothing like settling into a cozy science fiction or fantasy and getting fabulous food descriptions, too.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I adored “At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities.” I love the way Heather Webber combines small town fiction with a touch of the paranormal.
