For this week’s Top Ten Tuesday I’m featuring books with storms in them.
Sandstorms play a huge part in this book about a girl finding out that she has superpowers.
Magical storms break over the island at the heart of this story because the sorcerers who used to control them don’t travel there anymore.
I loved this book about a woman moving to Norway and learning to cook her family’s recipes to get her through the winter weather.
There are lots of snowstorms in this story about a British woman who moves to Iceland to open a store and ends up falling in love with the place and people.
My favorite part of this book is the group of people who live hidden in the eye of a permanent sandstorm.
When winter comes to Antarctica the residents of the city are cut off from the rest of the world until the ice retreats and the storms subside. But the domes are failing and there is a mystery this winter.
Electricity is attracted to this witch. She might just be developing the ability to recharge during thunderstorms.
Flooding is the concern here in a small town in Missouri at the confluence of two rivers.
I like the sound of Snug in Iceland and the Arctic Curry Club!
The Arctic Curry Club sounds good.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Snug In Iceland looks very inviting. Thanks for sharing some fun titles.
Please drop me a comment. I am trying to figure out if others can get through whatever barriers my provider has placed in our way. And I need the data. Thank you. My books which include snowy scenes
I’m not familiar with any of these. Small Town Big Magic sounds like my life. I live in a small town in Missouri and we’ve had devastating floods.
I really should read Who Fears Death sometime.
What a nice variety of storms found within the pages of books! Excellent! Sandstorms are something I did not think about.
