This is going to be a difficult post to write because I think I might be under an internet gag order. I’m not sure about that. I know I’m banned from talking on message boards but I didn’t ask about blogs. We shall be discrete.

I got a phone call today that will be requiring me to go to Los Angeles at the end of the month. A subtle hint can be found here. I was at work and the call came on my cell phone. I didn’t recognize the area code so I didn’t answer. When I listened to the message it just said, “Hi, this is R, from the place that shall not be named. Call me back.”

I told the people I was working with and they didn’t believe me at first. I called back and got his voice mail and left a message. When he called back I was with a dog who was about to get an injection. He was not happy about this and was screaming his head off even though he hadn’t been touched with the needle yet. I heard my cell phone ring and excused myself. The receptionist was running towards me with the phone, yelling “It’s them! It’s them!” I know the owner of that dog has to think that we are the weirdest vet staff ever.

I’m heading to LA on March 25 and 26. I will fly back home on the 27th and then I’m supposed to fly out that day or the next to judge a trail ride in North Carolina. I’m going to be beat. My dog is going to be very angry that I’m going to be gone for a week. Hopefully, I’ll have some extra cash and can buy her a treat when I get back.
