First find yourself a hard wood floor. Then spread out a table runner. Leave to find some fabric to use as a backing. You will hear a loud SMACK and return to find the table runner in disarray. Spread it out again and repeat until you realize that a cat is running full speed and landing on the runner and sliding until he hits the wall.

This becomes even more fun when you spread the batting on the backing and realize that you have to go to the table seven steps away for the spray adhesive. Give the cat a stern look. Receive an innocent look in return. Sprint to the table and grab the bottle. Start to turn around triumphantly just in time to hear…SMACK!
