I’m in the airport waiting to start my trip to Montreal. I’m going to a conference to get smart. I chose this one specifically because it was in Montreal. I’ve always wanted to go and this is a perfect tax deductable way to do it.
I’m going alone. I was going to take the SO for a fine romantic vacation but he’s fighting city hall on Friday. Our house tax assessment was raised by close to 100%. When he followed the rules to complain about it, they raised it even more. The assessment is now way above market value. He has a hearing on Friday. I think I’m glad I’m heading out of the country.
I get in around 2 PM today. I have the rest of today and all day tomorrow to sight see. The conference is Thursday through Saturday.
