I spent the weekend listening to the SO tell total strangers that he doesn’t beat me.
The bruises on my left bicep look suspiciously like I’ve been grabbed. If you saw them what would you believe?
A: The man in my life roughed me up
B: A 14 year old girl repeatedly smacked me across the arm with a sword
Yep, the man was feeling defensive. He’s concerned about me continuing since I bruise easily and he doesn’t want to go to jail.

The farm where Prize lives got two nurse foals. They are 3 and 5 weeks old. One is Quarter Horse/Morgan like Spirit was and the other is a TN Walker mix. We were there when they got to out in a big pasture for the first time. They were running full speed but didn’t have an understanding of their brakeing systems. They would decide to stop, lock their legs, and then slide uncontrollably. I got to pet the Morgan. He tried to bite me in the bruises which I told him us unacceptable but seems par for the course for a Spirit-Jr. I didn’t have a camera with me but I’ll get some pictures. They are super cute!
haha…the poor SO. One of my horse friends had her horse knock her in the nose and so she went to the hospital since her nose was clearly broken. Since she went alone the people at the hospital thought she was a battered woman and they would not let her husband anywhere near her! They didn’t buy the story that a horse has cause all that damage.
As for the foals…how cute! Since I know you live in the area, any chance those are Last Chance Corral babies? Regardless I am sure they are adorable! I hope you take pictures next time you are out there.
