I’ve had a very quilty week. I went to a sewing expo on Thursday. I don’t usually buy anything at these things. I just go to see the quilts. But I happened to wander past a sewing machine display. The people there asked if I liked their brand. I said that I had one and that I hated it. They asked which model I had and then they laid a comforting hand on my wrist, looked directly into my soul, and told me that was the worst machine ever made and that I needed to get rid of it. When I described what I was supposed to be using that machine for, they took me to another brand and showed me the machine that I wanted.

I usually shop for a long time for purchases like this but this store was willing to take my horrible machine in trade and I realized that this new machine was not made of plastic. With all the tariffs being imposed, the price on this was going to go up soon. That made me grumble even more. I haven’t quilted anything for a while because I hate this machine so much. I bit the bullet and bought it. I have to go get it at their store this week and dump off trade in my other one. Hopefully, this machine won’t make me cuss and fantasize about burning it in the backyard.

There will be lots of quilt show pictures coming up because there were some cool ones.
