I’m starting to think that my life is sort of odd. Here is a partial list of the things that happened to me today.
1. I spent part of the morning setting up my online pharmacy account. The weird part is that I spent most of that time *lowering* the default prices because I’m so cheap that I can’t imagine anyone paying those prices. Obviously people do because I’m sure not every vet using the system spent several hours decreasing the amount of money they will make from sales.
2. I went to the grocery store and bought mostly super healthy food. The woman behind me in line bought three cartons of ice cream and 13 hungry man dinners. Guess which one of us is skinnier? Hint – life isn’t fair.
3. I went to the library and an elderly man asked me if I was in college. (Maybe that healthy food is making me look young!) He followed that up by telling me a very long and detailed story about a sea lion that wanted to marry him. I decided not to let the evidence of his not-quite-there mental state detract from the first statement.
LOL That’s funny, the last one. I say, as far as the lady standing behind you in the grocery line…. It’s entirely possible she’s got a husband who eats the stuff (hungry-man tv dinners), and kids who’ll eat a lot of the ice-cream, or hell, even one teen-aged son would account for all that food! 😉
Ok. I think you have an OOPS in your upgrade… it’s not counting your comments..
That being said, I too mark things DOWN… when I see someone selling the same thing I am for an ungodly markup I cringe! So unfair, I think.
Those hungry man dinners are scary. The nutrition label is even scarier.
Lowering the pharmacy prices makes you the better deal, though, so in the end you may end up making more because you may get more customers. 🙂
