I’ve been playing around with some small jelly rolls and made a strip quilt.
I’m going to put a white border on this with some cornerstones so it looks a bit more organized but I’m all out of white. I’ve ordered more but I’m stuck until it comes in. This will be a donation quilt.

Since I’m stopped on that I worked on my Spaghetti Junction quilt.
I messed up the cutting somewhere. I used 12 fat quarters but don’t have nearly enough pieces. I’ll have to add some fabrics. This is an easy quilt but it keeps getting put off.

This is the wall hanging I received in the Modern Christmas swap.
I have it hanging over top a picture on my wall. It has pockets in the corners to hang from and this fits perfectly.

I hand sewed another hexagon and managed to shove it under a cat for a picture since she was refusing to pose with it.

I did my first in-person Quilts of Valor presentation this weekend. I didn’t make this gorgeous quilt. I was made by Julie who is in a group that is very active making QOVs. The recipient lives just a few minutes from me though so I took it to her in person.
You have a lot of activities going on … cute cat with beautiful flower:)
Wonderful hexie and and such a pretty kitty. You’ve been busy – your quilts are beautiful.
This pic of your kitty made me laugh! Great shot! Your Spaghetti Junction quilt has such a great pattern and nice colors. It makes me think of summer (we have a lot of snow now so this thought is very welcome)
Heather, everything is coming along great! Love Spaghetti Junction and am cracking up at the Kitty because I have one that acts just like yours! haha…..when I’m trying to spread out a quilt to photograph it she keeps flipping up the ends and when I want her to be still so I can get her in the picture she turns her head……they really do think they are in charge, don’t they?
Both quilts you are working on are wonderful! Pretty blue flower and a very sweet cat.
Wow! You’re getting a lot done. Your hexie flower is lovely.
Love Spaghettie Juntion it looks a complex design but I’ll take your word that it’s easier to make than it looks. I’m forever miscalculating fabric or not paying attention and cutting the wrong size.
That’s the trouble with cats they always do their own thing maybe a few more hexigons will entice him to pose for you 😉
