I’m working on an anchor. The original idea comes from a Tula Pink pattern.

This isn’t a fabric line that I’d normally really like but for some reason this design drew me in. Wouldn’t it be a great Quilt of Valor for a Navy veteran?
The pattern as written is for a huge quilt. But, Mara has come to our rescue with a plan to make it smaller.
It goes together really quickly. I’m using Mara’s design with the striped background from the original. I have rows 1 -4 done.
One thing is bothering me though. I had Yellow Submarine running through my head and it wouldn’t go away. I couldn’t figure out why.
You probably are singing it now. You’re welcome!
Stopping over from WIP – wow I hadn’t seen this pattern! It’s going to turn out fabulous 🙂
I’ve been working on a Salt Water quilt (actually just finished a coral one and am working on an aqua one). I love how the anchor is coming along! I had no idea there was a quilt along for it, what fun!
What a wonderful idea and yes it is perfect for a quilt of valor
Looks great! I love the pattern and the colors. I can’t wait to see it done 🙂
Looking good, nice colour choices too. I will be interested to see what it looks like when it is finished.
Ahhh yes yellow submarine;)
Your quilt is coming along nicely!
Looking good! Sooooo many small pieces – more than my patience can handle! Happy Stitching…and thank you for the ear worm…da da da da-di da da dah.
