I worked on the Quilt Around the World II swap. The packet I had asked for a block with geometric shapes in specific colors – kona ivory, melon, charcoal, black, and a green. I don’t usually work with solids so I ordered some ivory and melon and used grey scraps from my Orca Bay quilt.
Here are the three in the group so far.
For One Flower Wednesday we have Freckles modeling the latest addition to Hexy MF.
Note the thrilled look on her face. We had tried other flower positions earlier and she was just too sad. A second after this was taken she went stomping off to reclaim her dignity.
Lol – my pets are my quilting companions and quilt inspectors, too!
Freckles is so cute holding your beautiful flower! Love your blocks, like the greys used.
That X-block turned out great! I love the tiny little pink diamond in the center. Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday!
Beautiful blocks and beautiful hexie. The dog is cute too.
Aww! Cute dog photo and cute WIPs. I really like the X with the little touch of pink in the center.
Lovely colors for your quilt around the world swap…….and I can see what Freckles is thinking……..”ok, hurry up so I can go do something important!”………..
Three excellent blocks! I LOVE the photo of Freckles and your flower!!!!
